TOP SECRET trailed until leaving the backstretch, secured room on the inside on the final turn, moved up very quickly and continued on the inside to draw out at the end. ROSEMERE SIS, never far back, moved up stoutly when roused and closed gamely. STARG00 forced the pace of FIGHTING MAC to the stretch, made a stout bid on the outside and closed stubbornly. DEEP RED was a forward factor all the way and held on stoujjy. SUNRID raced evenly. GULLY GUSHER had early speed, but weakened. GUY HOTTEL could not threaten. FIGHTING MAC quit badly after setting the early pace. Scratched— 19454 Tideover, 117; 21962 Half Pint, 115. Overweight— Rosemere Sis, 1 pound. Attendance, 11,268; Total Mutuel Pool, 29,998. Returned to Public, 48,101, Less Breakage.
