FLYOMA, never far back and well ridden, assumed command entering the stretch and, responding to urging, held her advantage. SANAB, on the inside throughout, came gamely when roused for the drive, but could not reach FLYOMA. BORDER SCOUT, a keen factor from the beginning, was forced wide on the final turn and could not get to the leaders. BIG BURLY began fast, but could not keep up after the start, was sent between horses during the stretch run, but could not threaten SARAH HASH gave way after making the pace to the half. GOOD HUNTING engaged SARAH HASH to the stretch, then weakened. MIBOB was outrun. ARABS PAL tired. OUR MEMORY was through early. LATE ADVICE never far back, came to the outside tor the drive and closed fast under punishment CHANCE DANCE could not better his position when set down for the drive. NEAQUEEN began fast, displayed early speed, then faltered. TETRAMORE, in close quarters early, could not threaten when clear. T0LECA gave way after racing prominently to the last eighth. CAPSICUM, away slowly and forced to take up soon after the start, never was dangerous. KITTY GRAY had no mishap. DRAWBY was far back throughout. DUCK BERRY, never far back, held a short lead when settled for the drive, continued gamely under punishment and lasted to withstand EVA T. The latter was a keen factor from the beginning, came out for the drive, closed strongly and was getting to the winner. BIG CASINO saved ground throughout and had no excuse. SUEDE dropped back after showing early speed and, taken to the middle of the track for the drive, closed willingly under urging. UP FRONT, in hand for five-eighths, made a good bid entering the stretch, then faltered near the finish. OZZIE gave way after racing prominently to the stretch. VIENNA WALTZ gave way after engaging SKYLARK to the last eighth. MISS AMERICA began slowly and was outrun. HEDGE HOPPER had brief speed. CAMPS FIRST, away fast, made the pace to the final turn under pressure from CID PLAY, shook off the latter after reaching the stretch and then lasted to withstand DOCKIE. The latter, never far back and reserved to the final quarter, closed strongly, but could not overtake the winner. HEYDAY saved ground to the stretch, drifted out during the last three-sixteenths and broke down badly after the finish. FLY OFF raced evenly and had no mishap. AMERICAN EAGLE was never dangerous.
