ONE HOOK lacked early speed moved up with a rush on the outside through the stretch and drew clear under pressure. WOODSMAN, a forward factor from the beginning, took command on the far turn, drew clear, but could not withstand the winner. DIZZY HEIGHTS, never far back, raced evenly, but could not engage the leaders. ROY H. S. moved into closer contention and made a stout bid on the final turn and through the stretch, but weakened. TACOMA closed some ground from a slow beginning. MILKYMOON could not threaten. DADS could not keep up. Overweight One Hook, 2 pounds. Tacoma claimed by W. H. Bishop. Attendance, 13,128; Total Mutuel Pool, 42,007. Returned to Public, 45,547, Less Breakage.
