Attack Validity of Racing Law TRENTON, N. J., May 20. An attack on the validity of the State of New Jerseys 1946 racing law, under which the two new tracks, Monmouth Park and Atlantic City, were given virtual exemption from paying breakage to the state, was carried to the court of Error and Appeals today. The Garden State Racing Association, which operates Garden State Park, in Camden, asks the court to set aside the law as unconstitutional. Oral argument was scheduled. Breakage amounting to 57,000, which the state contends should be paid to it, is being held in trust pending the outcome of the case.
