SNOW GOOSE improved her position on the outside, responded in the stretch run and outlasted BUT WHY NOT. The latter was steadied along early, made a determined bid entering the stretch, but faltered under pressure at the end. NOW AND AGAIN, on the outside from the beginning and well up, had no mishap. MOTHER had no mishap. CAMARGO could not keep up. PICARDY BELLE had no mishap. CATANA was outrun. QUARANTAINE quit badly. ANTIGONE had no excuse.
