Imprudence Wins in France; English Oaks Next Start PARIS, France, May 20. Reuters. Madam Pierre Corbieres filly Imprudence, by Canot out of Indiscretion, followed up her success in the English 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket last month by a clear-cut victory in the Poule Dessia de Pouliches the French 1,000 Guineas from a field of nine at Longchamps yesterday. Marcel Bous-sacs Windorah set the pace until the home stretch, where Imprudence, who was lying second, drew out to win by half a length over- the late challenger, Count de Cham-bruns Montenica. Boussacs Djama was another three-quarters of a length away, in third place, at the end of the mile. The Poule Dessia de Poulains French ,000 Guineas, also run over a mile, was won by Baron G. de Waldners Tourment, by Tourbillion Fragment. Boussacs Dje-bel, who was favored, finished second, half a length behind and four and one-half lengths in the van of Standerton, who was placed third after the judges had examined the photograph. Joseph Lieux, who trained Imprudence, announced after the race that the fillys next start would be in the English Oaks at Epsom on June 5.
