0. C. Belt Named Chairman Of Ohio Racing Commission BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 20. O. C. Belt, Columbus automobile figure, today was appointed chairman of the State Racing Commission by Governor Thomas Herbert. Belt, a Republican, succeeds John Lokar, who resigned following a letter from Herbert asking him to do so. Before his term as governor expired last January, Frank J. Lauscfie named both-Belt and Lokar to the commission, designating Lokar as chairman. A vacancy, caused by Lokar s resignation, still exists.
