Donor and Loyal Legion Added to Yankee Probables SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 20. The field in the 5,000 Yankee Handicap, Saturdays feature offering here, took a sharp upward turn today when racing secretary John P. Turner received word that Deering Howes Donor and W. M. Jeffords Loyal Legiondefinitely will go post-ward in the twelfth running of the three-year-old test. Donor was to be shipped out of New York tonight, and will be bedded down here tomorrow morning while Loyal Legion will leave Havre cfe Grace tomorrow and will check in at the Downs on Thursday. Turner momentarily awaits word on several other top-flight three-year-olds. Train- er Jim Fitzsimmons, who talked with Turner today, will make a decision on Belair Studs Hyblaze. Marlet Stable connections were to notify Turner later regarding Kerry and Hoy al Lover. Trainer John Gaver of the Greentree Stable also will send word on the possibility of shipping, one or more of his three eligi-bles Gestapo, Tailspin and Trapeze while there is an outside possibility that the silks of C. V. Whitney also will be represented in the mile and three-sixteenths test. Loyal Legion comes up from Maryland with an impressive record of two smashing wins, scoring by four lengths in the Gretna Green Purse and then romping in the 0,- 000 Potomac Stakes last Saturday, a mile and an eighth under 117 pounds, by six lengths. He is in the Yankee with 114 1 pounds.
