ENSIGN MARY B 5.00 1.50 Winner B. g, by Special Agent Marching, by Man o War, trained by L. G. Bedwell; bred by H. M. Warner. WENT TO P0ST-5:42. OFF AT 5:421 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. GALLANT AGENT disposed of BELL-CODA after six furlongs, drew slightly clear, began bearing out and just lasted. BILOXI BAY, forwardly placed, closed strongly when set down and was catching the winner. ENSIGN MARY B., forced to take up repeatedly when caught in close quarters, finished well when clear. MUREX showed a good effort. BETTY QUEEN slipped through on the inside entering the stretch, then faltered. WAKE ROBIN made up ground late. BELLCODA swerved under weak handling while forcing the pace, then weakened- in the drive. GREAT BEYOND ran up behind horses on the first turn, was forced to be taken up sharply, then tired steadily. ABLE MARINE was never a serious factor. HELENS BOY failed to respond to intermittent pressure. Scratched 22867 Delphian, 111. Able Marine claimed by Frances Stable.
