Next MexicoCity Meeting Will Begin October 12 HD?ODROMO DE LAS AMERICAS, D. F., May 23. While not official, it is reported here that the 1947-48 session will begin on the usual October 12, which is a Sunday, and will run through the first Sunday in June. Reports also have it that the minimum purse next season will be 5,000 pesos. The minimum during the current session is 4,000 pesos. There was some talk of extending the present meeting until June 8 but the management announced that the season would positively come to a close June 1.
