AUSPICIOUS raced forwardly on the inside and held on well. LADY DELL had early speed, then quit. BEAUTIFUL TIME finished fast from a slow beginning. GALA REIGH was steadied along in the early running, moved up fast after taking the ninth fence, assumed command, but tired at the end. BOLD MATE jumped well and had no mishap. CHANCE BULLET was messed about in the running. KITTIWHISK was never a factor. LADY JANICE lost rider at the twelfth fence and MOST SECRET fell at the eighth. FOURTH RACE 7-8 MILE. DUSTRAISER showed a good effort. WAMEGO quit under urging. WHATUCALLUM UNSEATED RIDER, RAN AWAY AND WAS SCRATCHED. ALL WAGERS ON HIM WERE REFUNDED. INDIQUE was sent to the outside in the stretch, but could not menace the leaders DETECTION was sent up on the inside in the early running and eased to the outside going to the far turn, then came to the inside rounding the final turn.
