Jockey F. Adams Injured BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 23. Steeplechase jockey F. Adams canceled his mount for the afternoon. Seventeen stitches were required to close the wound in his knee, the result of being stepped upon by his mount, Fleettown, when he fell yesterday. Adams had previously suffered a shaking up and minor injuries last Tuesday when he was thrown while schooling a steeplechaser.
