Chinn Purchases Holdall; Will Enter Stud Next Year LEXINGTON, Ky., May 23. Col. Phil T. Chinn today announced that the Old Hickory Farm, Inc., has bought the six-year-old stallion, Holdall, a son of Bull Dog Miss Brief, by Sickle, from Henry Tikulski. Holdall will enter the stud next year at Chinns Old Hickory Farm here. Holdalls dam is a sister of Brevity and has also produced the stakes winner, Cable. She is from Ormonda, the dam of Osmand, and the grandam of Whirlaway. At the same time, Chinn announced that he has sold five horses to various owners in the past few days. Lloyd Gentry bought the two-year-old fillies, Supreme Ann and Trinket Box, and the three-year-old gelding, Brown Job. The three-year-old colt. Sun Fox K. V., was sold to Joseph Mooney, and R. H. Schwartz of Cleveland purchased .the five-year-old gelding, Bond Drive.
