Fisher, who rode Kirkland Lake in the eighth race at Woodbine Park on Saturday, May 28, 1949, was fined 0 for permitting his horse to interfere with Browns Line in the stretch run. Kirkland Lake finished fourth but was disqualified and Victory Mark was awarded fourth money, by order of the stewards.
