Y.— A record entry of 615 j trotters and pacers has been chalked up c for the 00,000 Grand Circuit meeting at Good Time Park in August, with the 0,000 c Hambletonian stake accounting for 82 can- I didates. This is the first time that Goshen I entries have exceeded 600 horses at Bill I Canes mile oval. The 7,000 Geers stake b for juvenile pacers, with 77 entries, runs t the Hambletonian a close second, with the to t Tompkins Memorial third, having 49 two- j j c c I I I b t to t j year-old trotters. Mahlon Hanover, 1950 champion two-year-old, is spring book favorite for the Hambletonian. This bay son of Nibble Hanover is owned by William Evans, Rockville Center, N. Y. Scotch Rhythm, who won the 0,000 Tompkins Memorial last summer, should rate tops because Miss Tilly and Lusty Song, who won . the juvenile stake in 1948 and 1949, went on win the Hambletonian in succeeding years.
