Forty-Six on Nomination Roster for Joliet Stakes Wilson Stable Named Seven While Dene mark Barn Has Four on List WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., May 19. — Samuel E. Wilson, Jr., thoroughbred owner from Corpus Christi, Texas, heads the list of nominators for the 0,000 added Joliet Stakes, which annually is the first two-year-old colt and gelding added money event of the lengthy Illinois season. William Booth, trainer of the formidable unit, has seven eligibles for the five-furlong dash, which will have its renewal on Saturday, May 26. Other units to have named more than one candidate for the event were Mrs. Emil Denemark, Warren Gale Douglass, J. H. Dunn, Emerald Hill Stable, Louis J. Hollen-back, Sr., Ralph Lowe, John Marsch, H. H. Mundy, the Red Top Farm and E. P. Rodriguez. Mrs. Denemark probably holds the most powerful hand in the history of the stake with such precocious youngsters as Red Curtice, Hudgeris, Cullerton and Robert, among the eligibles. Nominations for the juvenile fixture closed Wednesday, May 16, with 46 likely two-year-olds entered.
