Stout Shows Way in Jockey Race at Garden State Park GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 10. — Jimmy Stout ventured down to Maryland to ride Timely Reward in the Preakness today but his riding lead among the jockeys at Garden State Park appeared secure. The veteran Stout has brought 30»winr ners home during the first 17 days of the meeting, placing him five victories ahead of Fernando Fernandez. Both Stout and Fernandez were shut out yesterday. Meanwhile, Ronnie Nash grabbed third place by scoring a double, oh Trojan War in the fourth and Wonderment in the fifth. That gave Nash 10 winning rides. Hot on his heels are Sammy Boulmetis and Angelo Vasil, with nine each, and apprentice Russell Gaudreau, with eight.. -
