Max Johnson Dies at Track WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., May 19. — Max Johnson, owner of several horses in partnership with Rt J. McMullen, died of a heart attack at Washington Park today shortly after the running of the third race. Osculady, one of the horses in the Johnson-McMullen Stable, was a starter in that event and was unplaced in the race. Johnson, who is estimated to be in his late fifties, made his home in Chicago.
