Yildiz and Repetoire In Workouts for Kent Former Sent Mile in 1 :39% and Rival Goes Same Route in 1 :404/s DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 19.— Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords Yildiz and Mrs. Nora A. Mikells Repetoire received their final extended trials this morning for trie week-end Kent Stakes, while V. C. Whitneys Belmont winner, Counterpoint, was eliminated from consideration for the 5,000 event following word from trainer Syl Veitch in New York. Yildiz, idle since winning the Flamingo at Hialeah Park during the past winter, turned a mile handily in 1:39% to impress early morning arrivals. This is the third and most impressive eight-furlong drill for the Mahmoud colt during recent training periods and points him out as a definite threat for honors in the mile and a sixteenth fixture. Repetoire, who recently won a sprint event after having fared poorly in the Kentucky Derby and Preakness, covered the mile distance this morning in 1:40% j handily. He will be ridden by Dave Gorman for the first time in the Kent, while Warren Mehrtens will ride Yildiz. Two other Kent possibilities also were worked over the one mile distance this morning. Mrs. Esther duPont Weirs Koritza being timed in 1:41 and Frank Bon-sals Mully S. being caught in 1:41%. v
