Jet Master in Fast Breeze For Tremont at Aqueduct AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 19,— Three candidates lor Fridays opening day fixture here at Aqueduct, the 0,000 Tremont Stakes, worked over the Queens County Jockey Club track this morning. Marlboro Stud Farms Jet Master, who looms a solid choice in the five and a half furlongs stake,] breezed a half in :47, which was a couple of seconds faster than trainer George Odom had intended. The Aqueduct strip is unusually fast this year, but is pronounced safe and springy by trainers. Montpeliers Pintor, who set a track rec-| ord at Pimlico, then finished second to The Pimpernel in the . Christiana Stakes at 1 Delaware Park, went a handy half in : 48 ys . White Oak Stables hard-hitting Heap Big Chief was sent an easy five furlongs in 1:03. The prospect of a meeting between Jet Master and The Pimpernel, both of whom set records at Belmont Park, vanished when it was decided to send W, Goadby Loews colt back to Delaware Park for the Dover Stakes. He would have received five pounds from Jet Master here.
