Thorncliffe Stewards Issue Two Rulings for Apprentices THORNCLIFFE PARK, Leaside, Ont., June 19. — The stewards at Thorncliffe Park issued the following rulings here today: "All apprentice jockeys must have the approval of the stewards before accepting their first mount." "Following incompetent rides in the fourth and eighth races on June 18, apprentice jockey R. Buisson is hereby instructed to ride for his contract employer only, until further notice. This instruction to take effect from June 21.
