Gov. Dewey Signs Requisition For Bill Spiveys Extradition ALBANY, N. Y., May 22 UP.— Gov- . ernor Dewey today signed a requisition for extradition of William Spivey, former University of Kentucky basketball center, to New York on a first degree perjury indictment. Dist. Atty. Prank S. Hogan of New York County will send the extradition papers to Kentucky Gov. Lawrence W. Wetherby. Spivey testified February 27, 1952, before a New York grand jury investigating game-fixing and point-shaving. He was indicted April 24. Hogan said Spivey was not asked to waive immunity when he testified.
