Safe Arrival Makes Good In Cranwood Park Feature CRANWOOD PARK, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, May 22.-The weather has improved in the Cleveland area to the extent that it is considerably warmer, even •with a lack of sunlight for the racing program. However, a goodly crowd of 3,359 found their way to this Miles Avenue course and were enthusiastic in their praise of the winners. The A and H Stables Safe Arrival redeemed his last two efforts when he went to the post the favorite, only to wind up third. This afternoon in the Warrensville Heights Purse with jockey Stanley Bielen in the saddle, the Eight Thirty gelding lasted for most of the mile and a sixteenth to reach the wire a half a length in front of N. Ledas Sign It, and again the favor ite in the betting, returned a .80 mutuel. Time for the event was a comfortable 1:50 flat. W. S. Timmons Fair Edna was third, another two and one-quarters lengths back and a head in front of McKale and Shep-pards Best Challenge. T. Dunns Fven Better and the Safiko Stables En Route brought up the rear as it were, in "Indian File" fashion.
