Trophies in All Delaware Stake Events STANTON, Delaware, May 22. — Every stakes event offered at Delaware Park, which will usher in its 33-day meeting On May 29, carries a handsome trophy in addition to the winners share of the purse. The Tom Roby Steeplechase Stakes, scheduled for June 12, is unusual in that the trophy — a George m. antique silver cup — goes to the victorious jockey, rather than the owner. The rider holds the cup until the next running, but also receives a replica as his permanent possession.
