McMillan Fairmount Official FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsyille, 111., May 22. — Starter C. H. McMillan who has been starting the fields at Fairmount for 12 years, arrived from Fort Miami and has been supervising the schooling for the past week. His crew has been schooling for the past .two weeks. "Sunny" Crockett, assistant starter, joined the McMillan crew. McMillan reports that he has one of the most experienced starting crews in the country for the coming meeting, also that his crew includes five starters at other meetings throughout the country. McMillan is the owner of six starting gates used at various race tracks and is completing his thirty-sixth year as a starter.
