Won driving; second and third the same: BOY GENIUS moved in closes attendance of the leader after a quarter mile, drifted out badly entering the stretch and finished on the extreme outside to gain a photo over NOTTS FOREST. The latter assumed command at once, saved ground along the inside and just missed. RUTH C. was best of the others. BROADWAY TED went evenly. DIXIES PAL was unable to keep up. THE CRITTER lacked a closing rally. THREE THREES showed nothing. GRAND NANCY closed with a rush while slipping between horses on the final turn and swinging to the outside for the drive. MISS BETH showed good speed on the outside to take command, drew clear, then tired. SUPERNOVA was in the thick of contention throughout. BEV G. outbroke the field, was unable to maintain the advantage and went evenly thereafter. OXLIN showed an even effort. . GATICA-LINDA was never prominent. IKE MORALES broke sluggishly. jFERNROCK showed nothing. PEACE TRIAL flashed brief speed and guit. TRUDY CROSS was pinched back at the break. HELLO WILLIE was outrun. ARCTIC TERN, reserved close to the pace for a mile, assumed command when ready, drew clear, moved over to the inside nearing the furlong pole and held CREEDE safe. The latter moved between horses on the far turn, swung to the rail entering the stretch, found an opening to be near the leader, then pulled out around, but was not good enough. GOLDTON fa t?.nAclRse,l? l.he early Pace moved t0 e"9a9e the leader in the stretch, then faltered. TOSTON had no mishap. EUGARP failed to respond to steady urging. OPINIONATED showed speed for a mile, then weakened. GAY COURIER had no mishap. SIR JOSEPH T. tired. The others were outrun. A claim of foul against the winner by the rider of CREEDE was disallowed. DON PASCAL established the pace under light restraint, saved ground and held on gamely. CANIS MAJOR, a forward factor, continued on gamely when put to presure. BY GONE DAYS forced the early pace, weakening in the late stages. QUEENS CHANT had no mishap. RUNYON FUND was never prominent EASY CHOP broke tardily and was never a factor. BERNIE MOOSE dropped off the pace soon after the start, began working his way up on the outside nearing the far turn, continued to gain under steady urging and was along in the final yards to take command. D0MINAVE established the pace under stout restraint, shook off opposition entering the lane but was unable to match strides with the winner. ANNS STEP forced the pace from the outset and held on tenaciously. TWO FEATHERS, close to the leaders, drove up along the inside in the stretch then hung. DESCENTIVE went evenly. INLET MISS steadied in closest attendance of the leader, challenged mildly when roused but was not good enough. FLIGHT PATROL had no mishap., BON VICTOIRE was taken back after the start, placed under stouUrestraint, and was not unduly punished while catching tiring horses.
