Cady Song will join a field of eight in the featured seventh race, a ,000 A-class trot at one mile. Opposing her bid for four in a row will be John Dee, Moses, Hal Tass. Spud Hart, Private Pat, Delhi Lady and Clever Sunny. John Dee, which draws the pole, gained stature by finishing third in last weeks 2,000 Maywood Trotting Derby. The six-year-old Prudential gelding is owned by Mrs. John DeMarce of Benson, Minn., and will be driven by Mel Harmening. Clever Sunny, who races for A. D. Knapp of Jackson, Mich., was a disappointment in the Derby, finishing out of the money in both dashes. Spud Hart, entered by Erwin Dygert of Aurora, boasts a sweep of the recent Gold Coast tro at Maywood and Delhi Lady, owned by the Jordan brothers stabler, of Rockford, claims the Inaugural Stake among her victories. Spud Hart will be driven by Red Scott, who this week moved into first place in the Maywood drivers standings. Dee Stover, who held the lead for four weeks before relinquishing it to Scott, will pilot Delhi Lady. True Jay, who won seven of his first 10 starts this year, will make his third try for No. 8 in the eighth race, a mile pace. True Jay will be reined by owner Dave Taddeo of Melrose Park in a field that includes Daisy Mc-I-Win, Caramac, Richard D. Grattan, Major Brookdale, Kim Castle and Battle Prince.
