HALS LINDA saved ground from the start, responded well when set down through the stretch and disposed of BONA ETERNAL in the last seventy yards. BONA ETERNAL was hustled to the front early, established a clear lead when settled for the drive, but was unable to hold the winner. GOLDEN REIGH lacked early speed, but finished strongly in a sharp effort. OPEN WAY raced wide entering the stretch. BEAUTYS TIGER was outrun. MISS PLACE had a rough trip. STAGGER HOME engaged BONA ETERNAL to the stretch, but had nothing left for the drive. CLARA PATRICIA cwild not keep up after displaying early speed. CONNIE-JO was through after a half mile. CEDRIC, on the outside throughout, gave a good effort, but was unable to reach the leaders when set down through the stretch. AIRDROME tired after racing well to the final furlong. HI BOB raced wide through the stretch. LYLES FIRST was never dangerous and had no mishap. BALLLYHEATHER could not keep up. BURGOO PLAY was through early. Hals Linda claimed by Mrs. W. O. Bridge. Attendance, 8,244; Total Mutuel Pool, 22,871.
