Gleason Thanks Racing Folk DETROIT. Mich., June 11. — Members of the local riding colony, scale room valets and others connected with the Detroit Race course, received a letter of thanks from jockey Gerald Gleason for their recent visits and gifts. Gleason has been confined to Herman Kiefer Hospital in Detroit for the past 22 months. He is well known in the motor city and rode races during several seasons at the Old Fair Grounds track.
