Woodchuck, Chicle II. Head Palatine Unit Coming Here MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 11.— Trainer J. H. "Slim" Pierce, in a telephone conversation with racing secretary John Turner, Jr., stated this morning that plans have been made to transfer the Palatine Stable to Arlington Park from their present quarters at Garden State Park on Thursday. Although the unit will be small, it will be packed with power. The sensational sprinter, Woodchuck, will eye the rich Arlington -Washington Park stakes, while Argentine-bred Chicle II. will be pointed for the top money as a specialist at running over the turf. This will mark the initial appearance of the Palatine Stable silks at Chicago, the Philadelphia-owned stable formerly confining their summer campaigning to the New Jersey circuit.
