The latter vied for command from the start, displaced LORENA H. when ready and held on well but missed in a game try. The latter went well for six furlongs and weakened. LAVARA had no excuse. BRIGHT PASS was never prominent. DUSTY TEAR tired early, as did FIRST STRING. BAYOU ROSE vied for command on the. outside, ran wide leaving the turn, came again over tired horses and drew clear. BELOVED MISS was on nearly even terms for command from the start and shortened strides nearing the end. BOILING SPRING stumbled at the start/ recovered quickly to join the leaders and faltered through the drive. TEDDYS PICNIC was best of tired horses. HOUCKS MILL had early speed and tired. The latter assumed command without need of urging, was put to punishment when threatened by the winner and was not goSd enough. SUITS N PANTS loomed a mild threat on the final turn and lacked a menacing rally. BLUE SQUARE tired. DILLY WHILLY was always far back. CORTINA failed to seriously threaten.
