3,817 Hardy Fans View Races SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, HI., June 8. — Although rain fell heavily practically through "the entire program, the Chicago Downs nine-race harness card was run off as scheduled Tuesday night. Some 3,817 hardy fans braved the adverse elements and wagered 57,507 on the program. The Chicago Downs meeting opened Monday night and the racing was conducted over a water-soaked track and without the aid of a starting gate. rOLLl Flaxeycolbv in tonights seventh race, a B Trot at Sportsmans Park.
