DESTI NO MISS, forwardly placed from the start, went to the front entering the stretch and drew clear, winning with somehting left. FIRST GREEK steadily worked way forward and closed strongly but could not threaten the winner. ECK-HEART went to the front entering the stretch, then faltered when challenged by DESTINO MISS. NICKS GAL began fast, raced prominently for a half-mile, then weakened. HOOSIER BELLE showed little. WINTER BOOK, roughed when caught in close quarters at the stretch turn, failed to recover. FRALURE, confidently handled, steadily worked way forward and, after disposing of the leaders, won going away. RAY N JAY was sent between horses during the stretch run, was unable to threaten the winner, but closed gamely to best RESSA BOB. The latter, never far back, reached the lead during the drive,, but faltered when nearing the finish. YEONI could not keep up. WINGED DEVIL tired after racing with COTEAUX BOY to the stretch. ALLFOREVER raced wide. COTEAUX BOY failed to stay after showing early speed. SHORT WAY began slowly. ROYAL SWAN was never dangerous. Overweight— Short Way, 4 pounds. Yeoni claimed by C. H. MIGHTY ROAN, a keen factor from the start and saving ground, entered the stretch with a good lead, continued willingly under brisk handling and lasted to hold BONSAND safe. The latter moved up fast approaching the stretch, raced to MIGHTY ROAN, then hung and could not overtake the latter, although much the best of the others. HERMAN L. could riot better his position when set down through the stretch. NEPAL began slowly-and lacked early foot. GUNGA DIN began fast, drifted out while setting the pace for five-eighths mile, then gave way. CELTIC SPIRIT could not keep up. COCOA AL was through early. Scratched— 510222 Chipawood, 114. WILLY NILLY, in hand while racing within striking distance of the leaders to the stretch, responded readily when set down in the drive and, taking command, drew clear in the last sixteenth. BIDDY SUE, much used racing DONT MOVE into defeat, settled in the stretch : with a good lead, but could not stay with the winner, although easily best of the others. DONT MOVE, hustled . into an early lead, made the pace to the stretch while racing with BIDDY SUE, then failed to stay. TIGER TRIP tired during the drive.
