; Connell ThistleDown Visitor THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 8. — R. A. "Dick" Connell, president of Hazel Park, near Detroit, took in the sport here today and plans to remain over until Saturday to witness the Susan Stakes. A couple of candidates were shipped in this week from Detroit to compete in the Susan, a ,500 added sprint of five furlongs for two-year-old fillies.
