No Objection If It Fits Into Schedule: Ellsworth HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 8. — Rex Ellsworth, owner of the great California-bred Swaps, today said that while he had not been officially approached as to the feasibility of a match race with Nashua early in August at Washington Park, he would "have no objection to such a match as long as it did not interfere with the Swaps planned engagement in the American Derby. Added Ellsworth : "We will be in Chicago anyway following the close of Hollywood Park and I have said from right after the Derby that we would like to meet Nashua again. But the schedule for Swaps has been mapped out carefully in advance and if a match race came up within the scope of that schedule, I see no reason why such a meeting with Nashua would not be entirely possible." • Asked if he had not been contacted directly by Arlington-Washington Park interests in the matter, Ellsworth replied that no more so than several other tracks, and that insofar as the Chicago match was concerned, his trainer, Mischa Tenney, had been advised only that "something was in the wind along the lines of a match race, but nothing quite definite in the way of any particulars."
