Ohio Commission Meets At River Downs on July 8 To Hear Principals in Four Recent Stimulation Cases COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 27. Four recent stimulation cases will be reviewed by the State Racing Commission when it meets at River Downs, near Cincinnati, at 11 a.m. July 8. Acting secretary William J. Cull, announced here today. To be questioned by the board are Howard Ewing, Arthur Perrossier, Alfred Cic-cone and Barnum Sardonis, trainers presently under indefinite suspension. Ewing was the trainer of Bold Satan, Perrossier of Sewanees Penny, Ciccone of True Bruce and Sardonis of Maid of Kent. All four horses were found to have been stimulated in winning races. Maid of Kent at Beulah Park and the -others at River Downs. Cull said that Paul Driscoll, who is seeking a jockey license, and Leo Collins, who is under suspension as an exercise rider, also have been invited to appear before the board at the July 8 meeting. Invitations also have been sent; Cull said, to permit holders, who wish to appear with suggestions for changes in the rules of Ohio racing. The Commission is planning an open hearing on the suggested changes for August in Columbus. I , j i I t t j
