RUDYS VALLEY was confidently rated abreast HI-ROCK, quickly opened a commanding lead when ready for the stretch run and was taken in hand for the finish. SIR MIRON was allowed to lag off the pace for a half mile, then circled horses and finished well to best the others. PERIPOSE came between horses in the drive and finished well. HI-ROCK was intermittently urged pacing the winner and weakened after six furlongs. SEARSIE was eased back entering the backstretch and lacked a stretch rally. TOY FOX was pulled up from between the top pair on the backstretch, then lugged in behind horses In the drive. BOOK MATCH was outrun. EIGHTH RACE 1 1-8 MILES. First Aid, June 16, 1954 1:49 4 113. SENTIMENT was intermittently urged racing with the first flight and responded gamely in the drive to best the others. PINO-STRES, sluggish starting, ran into a blind switch rushing forwardly placed at the far turn, then made a strong stretch bid and hung.
