Dupas, Ryff to Meet Again In New Orleans on August 25 NEW ORLEANS, La,, June 27 UP. Young Ralph Dupas of New Orleans will meet Frankie Ryff of New York here again August 25 in a 12-round lightweight bout, it was announced today. Dupas, the No. 1 challenger, won a split decision over Ryff in their last fight here. In an earlier match in Eastern Parkway Arena in Broklyn, Dupas was beaten by Ryff. The announcement of the fight was made by Blaise DAntoni, former chairman of the board of the Louisiana Boxing Enterprises. DAntoni, millionaire steamship tycoon, resigned as chairman over the week end, but will serve as promoter for the LBE. DAntoni said that if Jimmy Carter still is champion, he will be matched with the winner of the Ryff-Dupas bout here, in September.
