Sysonby at Belmont May Become 00,000 Event Seek Late Closing Entry of Swaps Nashua, Helioscope and High Gun ELMONT, L. I., N. Y., June 27.-Bel-mont Park today announced a tentative change in the conditions for the Sysonby Stakes, leaving the door open for a possible 00,000 added race among some of the countrys leading performers at its autumn meeting. George D. Widener, president of the Westchester Racing Association, announced that the closing date for the Sysonby has been pushed back to September 14, two weeks before the September 24 running of the event, in the hope of attracting the nominations of the two top three-year-olds, Swaps and Nashua, and the two outstanding handicap stars, Helioscope and High Gun. Widener said that under those circumstances Belmont Park would put up a purse of 00,000 and increase the distance of the Sysonby from one mile -to "probably" a mile and an eighth.
