■ Stewards1 Rulings SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, III., May 11. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Owner Lyle Gaines, registered owner of the horses Kentucky King, Scription, and Rancher, is hereby suspended pending the determination of the true ownership of the said horses. "The horse Kentucky King, Scrip-tion, and Rancher/ are suspended and are ineligible to race pending the investigation. "The horses Valerie Jean and Hard-to-Handle, registered under the ownership of Dolores Kucik, heretofore suspended, are also suspended and ineligible to race pending the determination of the true ownership of the said horses." BELMONT PARK, Jllmont, L. I., N. Y., May 11. — The stewards issued the following ruling: •» "Jockey Carroll Bierman is suspended for ten days effective Wednesday, May 13 to Friday, May 22, inclusive, for crossing the field and causing intereference in the backstretch during the running of the sixth race on Saturday, May 9. Bierman rode Par Four." MAUMEE DOWNS, Maumee Ohio, — Ohio, May 11. — The stewards today issued the following rulings: "Jockey Albert Wolfe is fined the sum of 0 for lodging a frivolous claim of foul after the running of the fifth race of May 9, 1959. "Jockey Kenneth Robertson is suspended 10 days, from May 13 to May 23, inclusive, for rough riding ap1 proaching the half-mile pole in first race of May 9, 1959." CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 11. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Jockey Donald Brumfield is suspended 5 days, May 13-May 17 inclusive, for careless riding in the sixth race, May 9, 1959."
