The latter dropped back while racing along the inside, wrested command from the outside leaving the furlong pole and was unable to resist the winner. PATUXANT PRINCE raced HIGH RIVER into defeat after three furlongs and weakened. STAR BUCKLE weakened through the stretch. HIGH RIVER held a slight lead on the turn and faltered.
