GOOD TUNE slipped inside the leaders to take command shortly after a half mile and increased the lead under light urging. FIGHTING THREE had good speed and was not good enough. SIX BILLS was always well placed, but lacked a strong late response. YELLOW HAND finished with good energy. SWEET SWINGER had no late rally. "NOBLE KILL flattened out badly. EUDYS DREAM quickly drew clear and, after increasing the lead into the stretch, won with speed to spare. GE HE WE held the runner-up position throughout and was best of the others. GRAYING could not improve position. SCARLET LILLY was forced to race wide improving position. NIGHT VISION could not keep up. PRAISE BEE was unable to keep up after breaking well. GRAY BAHRAM tired. SEAWORTHY raced within striking distance of the leaders from the start and, after taking command with a good stretch response, held LYSTRA LADY safe. The latter improved position gradually and closed with a sharp burst of speed. ROMAC shoook off bids from JACK ODIAMONDS, then tired slightly along the inside. JACK ODIAMONDS made several unsuccessful bids tor the lead and hung nearing the end. WHITEYS BOY could not keep up. GREEK VALOR broke sluggishly and could not enter contention. TULLO, lagging early as usual, started to rally leaving the far turn while along inside, was sharply taken up to come outside the leade/ in the final sixteenth and wore that one down in plenty of time. GULIO CESERE was hustled into a good leadearly, was given a breather at the far turn, then drew off again and could not hold the winner. LONELY was yfelding ground to the top pair in the late yards. BARROCO rallied well going to the far turn, wore down the leaders nearing the end, then appeared to hang and just lasted. DOUBLE BID was under good rating and, after opening up a good lead, had something left when challenged by MOTOR LINE in the early stretch, then afterlosing the lead came on again, Just missing. MOTOR LINE rallied inside DOUBLE BID into the stretch and, finishing well, was not good enough. MIKE BARRY finished with good energy.
