FAIR QUESTION, reserved behind the leader to the stretch, rallied well when called upon and won going away. WAR COMMAND was under good rating setting the pace and could not handle the winner. LADY COLONEL, taken back early, started to improve speed on the final turn, and continuing with a strong rally, wore down CADRU in plenty of time. The latter caused crowding along inside at the first turn, dropped back slightly after settling into the backstretch, came to the outside to reach the front in deep stretch, then, while lugging in, could not hold the winner. COLUMBIA GEM raced with the pace from the start and tired nearing the end. DOTS BOY was rated while holding a slight advantage to the eight pole, then tired. BEACH BEAU, crowded at the first turn, dropped back, rallied boldly along inside on the final turn, then was blocked the entire final eighth. SPEED OLIGHT failed to threaten. LAND LASH tired.
