1 AURORA TURF NOTES O . Apprentice Elmer Deperini, a brother of former jockey R. Deperini, under contract to Mrs. Floyd West, made his first appearance under colors in the first race Friday at Aurora when he drew the assignment on The Heathen. The youngster, a likely looking chap, won his first race at Alamo Downs January 9, when he guided Rapid Bells to victory. He is a real lightweight, scaling as low as ninety pounds. Apprentice Danny Brammer was the leader in money earned by the jockeys at Aurora. He has 09 coming for his; weeks wprk. K. McCray was next with 40, while Joe Bollero and Lester Balaski tied with 31 each. . Jockey R. Tilden has signed to ride for A. A. Baroni. Tildens work at Aurora has been of a high standard, and his performances last week impressed the Nevada owner. Tom Craven conducted a sale in the paddock Friday morning. The vendue consisted pf the horses of B. Fulwider, who was suspended recently. The summary of the sale is as follows: E.
