More New York Invaders For William Penn Stakes Maine Chances Noble Risk and War Pointer Latest on Roster By WILLIAM C. PHILLIPS Staff Correspondent GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 21. — Two more New York invaders have joined the growing band of juveniles who are scheduled to compete here in Saturdays twelfth running of the 0,000 added William Penn Stakes. They are Maine Chance Farms Noble Risk and War Pointer, who are expected to perform as an entry. The latter is a welcome addition to the classy field that is anticipated, having declared his-speed with a five-furlong victory timed in a swift :58 down the Widener chute at Belmont Park last Tuesday. Other invaders already, making their headquarters here for the five-furlong William Penn are Full Flight and Quick Lunch, both representing the Wheatley Stable, and Brookfield Farms unbeaten I Appeal. Full Flight was fourth in both the Juvenile Stakes at Belmont and the Youthful Stakes at Jamaica, and in each case was coming on fast at the finish. I Appeal has won three races in succession and comes here from Maryland with the Bowie Kindergarten Stakes as the latest feather in his cap. Local hopes will be pinned on J. W. Rod-gers Due De Fer, whose winning dash at five furlongs last Saturday in :M% equaled the track mark established three years ago by Lord Putnam. Due De Fer has an unblemished record of two victories, the first tallied late last winter at Gulfstream Park. High on the list of possible starters is C. V. Whitneys Catspaw, who garnered top honors recently in the Belmont Juvenile Stakes. Mrs. S. Lewins Right Bit, and Eugene Constantin.
