KING MOWLEE moved through along the inside to loom a threat entering the stretch, then weakened under pressure. FLYING AWAY failed to seriously menace tlie leaders while racing on the outside for the entire distance. DAMASO, after trailing into the stretch, closed with a late rush. AIR COUNT improved his position steadily to engage the leaders entering the stretch, then outfinished SHINY KNIGHT. The latter was badly outrun early, moved boldly to reach the first flight, then was outgamed. CARLOCK disposed of VEZZOSO to attain a clear lead, held sway to the furlong pole and gave way. FLUENT AL wore down tired horses, as did DORIOUS. JACKLYN was through early. HIGH NOW saved ground to no avail. SCEZZANO flattened out badly. BALLE BLEU was badly roughed early and had little chance.
