Longden Rides Today DUBLIN, Ireland, May 25 Reuters. —American jockey Johnny Longden today accepted a/ mount in the Irish Two Thousand Guineas classic to be run over a mile at The Curragh here Wednesday. Longden will ride Sound Barrier, trained by Paddy Prendergast. Sound Barrier is a chestnut colt by Precepitation out of Gold Vista. He ran only once this year and finished far back in a field of 23 starters at The Curragh six weeks ago. Longden is on a visit to Europe at the special invitation of Canadian owners Max Bell and Frank McMahon to ride their colt Blue Sail in the Epsom Derby on June 2.
