Fleming Nominations Deadline LINCOLN FIELDS, Crete, 111., May 25.— Racing secretary L. C. Bogenschutz reminded horsemen today that midnight Wednesday is the deadline for making1 nominations for the 5,000 Edward J. Fleming Memorial aHndicap. The Fleming, formerly the Steger aHndicap, is for three-year-olds and upward at seven furlongs and will be renewed at Lincoln Fields on Saturday, June 5. The name of the race was changed in 1950 to honor the memory of the late Edward J. Fleming, former president of the Lincoln Fields Racing Association, who died in 1949.
