Northville Opens June 17 NORTHVILLE, Mich., May 25.— Northville Downs will open its 39-night harness meet Thursday, June 17. It will be the eleventh year for Michigans pioneer harness track. The* meet which will continue through July 31 will be the shortest in Northvilles history. John Carlo, executive manager, has announced the 0,000 Governors Cup Trot will be held July 9 and the 0,000 Michigan Pacing Derby will be up for decision on July 23. John Jenuine, who succeeded Bill Connors last year, is again the racing secretary this year.
