Stewards Rulings CAHOKIA DOWNS, East St. Louis, III., June 5. The stewards here issued the following rulings Tuesday: "Jockey Raymond McEwen is suspended 10 racing nights for careless riding during the running of the sixth race Saturday, night, June 1st. Suspension beginning on June 5th and ending June 18th, both dates inclusive. "Jockey John J. Hanley, astride the horse, Hannaway, is suspended 10 racing nights for causing interference with the horse, Power Pal, in the stretch during the running of the sixth race, Tuesday night, June 4. "The winner, Hannaway, was disqualified and placed second and the horse, Power Pal, which finished second, was placed first. His suspension begins on June 7 and terminates on June 1C, inclusive." "Jockey Arthur Monteiro Is suspended 10 days for rough riding during the running of the third race on June 4. His suspension begins on June 7 and terminates on June 16, inclusive." HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 5. The Hollywood Park board of stewards Tuesday issued the following ruling: "For conduct detrimental to racing, jockey Ismael Valcnzuela is suspended for 20 racing days, June 4 to June 29, inclusive." WATERFORD PARK, Chester, W. Va., June 5. The stewards issued the following ruling: "Jockey Richard Bell is hereby suspended 10 racing days for careless riding and causing his mount, Fibol, to be disqualified and placed second during the running of the sixth race on June 4. The suspension begins June 7, ending June 18, inclusive." AUDUBON PARK, Henderson, Ky., June 5 The stewards here today is- sued the following ruling: "Apprentice. James Ring is suspended 10 days June 7 to 16, inclusive for careless riding in the third race on June 4, 1957." RUIDOSO DOWNS, Ruidoso, N. 3VI., June 5. The board of stewards issued the following ruling: "For causing interference going into the first turn while astride Billy Nooks, during the running of the ninth race, June 1, 1957, -jockey Elbert Min-chey is suspended for three racing days. He will eligible to accept mounts for sixteenth of June, 1957. "For failure to have the proper con- trol of his mount and allowing his mount to drift out during the running of the tenth race, June 1, 1957, jockey Bruce Brinkley is suspended for two racing days. He will be eligible to accept mounts June 15, 1957. "For causing interference at the three-sixteenths pole while astride Jet Magic, during the running of the twelfth race, June 1, 1957, apprentice jockey Marcus Jiron is suspended two racing days. He will be eligible to accept mounts June 15, 1957."
